Stay legal, skip the ticket
Oregon's tint rules (ORS 815.221) are simple once you know them. We install to spec and give you the certificate the law requires, so you're covered if you're ever pulled over.
Film can't be more than 13% reflective (no mirror tint). Drivers with a qualifying medical condition can get darker tint with a signed note from a physician or optometrist kept in the vehicle.

Common questions
How dark can window tint be in Oregon?
On passenger cars, the side and rear windows must let at least 35% of light through with the film applied, and film can't be more than 13% reflective. On trucks, SUVs, and vans, the windows behind the driver can go darker as long as the vehicle has side mirrors. On the windshield, only the top 6 inches can be tinted.
Ceramic or carbon: what's the difference?
Both look great and block UV. Ceramic film rejects much more heat and won't interfere with phone, GPS, or radio signals, so it's the better choice for keeping the car cool. Carbon film is a solid, lower-cost option focused on looks, privacy, and glare.
How much does window tint cost?
It depends on the vehicle, how many windows, and which film you choose. Send us your year, make, and model (or the number and size of windows for RVs, homes, and offices) and we'll quote it.
How soon can I roll my windows down?
Wait 3 to 5 days so the film can fully bond. Small water bubbles or a hazy look in the first days is normal curing and clears up on its own, a little slower in cold or wet weather.
Can you remove my old tint?
Yes. We remove old, bubbling, or faded tint and clean off the adhesive before installing new film. Let us know when you request a quote.
Can you tint a Tesla glass roof?
Yes. We install a heat-rejecting film on Tesla glass roofs that cuts heat and glare while keeping the open, bright feel of the roof.
Do you tint RVs, homes, and offices?
